Youtube

Overview

This guide covers the installation of Youtube Morphe. This is pretty much Youtube with most of the benefits of Premium for free.

Note

Morphe is required. Please view instructions on the left hand side or at Morphe.

Required Download(s)

The files needed can be downloaded here or through Morphe.
Open the Installation Videos tab for a video tutorial. Follow Video 1 if you choose to download them here, or Video 2 if you choose to install them through Morphe.
Installation instructions for both options will be provided. Their source links are provided below if you prefer getting them from there instead.

Installation

  1. Download the first file above (Youtube). Do not open it

    You may be warned that the File might be harmful, but Android does this for apps downloaded outside of the Play Store. Press Download anyway if prompted.

  2. Download the second file above (GmsCore). Open this one

  3. Open GmsCore when it is finished downloading. You can do this with the popup or in your Files app, named microg-6.1.1.apk.

  4. Open Morphe. Please view Morphe if you have not installed it yet.

  5. Select Youtube to get started.
  6. Tap on No, I already have an APK on the next screen. You installed this in Step 1.
  7. Select the file you downloaded in Step 1: com.google.android.youtube...
  8. The process should start automatically. Give it some time, this can take a while.
  9. Once the process is finished, press Install on the popup that appears.
  10. If prompted, follow the app instructions to go to your Settings and allow the installation of unknown apps from Morphe.
  11. Tap Install on the second popup.
  12. Once it is installed, you can Allow Notifications to receive notifications on any updates.
  13. Open the Youtube Morphed app once it finishes installing. You can then choose if you want notifications or not.
  14. Follow the on-screen steps and tap on Restart, followed by Continue to get the app set up.
  15. Allow MicroG to run in the background in the next popup.
  16. Go into your phone's Settings and look for the original Youtube in your App List.
  17. Disable the original Youtube.
  18. Go into your phone's Settings and look for Default Apps.
  19. Proceed to Opening Links and find Youtube Morphed.
  20. Enable all the links you want to open with your funny Youtube.
  21. Enjoy your funky Youtube.
