Revenge

Overview

This guide covers the installation of Revenge Manager. This app allows you to "mod" your Discord, which can let you add features and customize heavily.

Required Downloads

You must download the necessary file below. The source link will be provided below if you prefer getting it from there instead.

A video guide will be provided below, alongside readable instructions if that is preferred.

Installation

  1. Download the file above.

    • You may be warned against doing so, but Android does this for apps downloaded outside of the Play Store.
  2. Open the .apk once it finishes downloading.

    • You can do this through the notification or your Files app.
    • If prompted, allow the browser/file manager to install apps.
  3. Tap Install.

  4. Open Revenge Manager.
  5. Grant the permission requests.

Optional - App Icon & Name

The app will appear as Revenge with a red Discord icon. If you want to change the icon back or the name to anything else, follow the steps below:

    1. Go to the Revenge Manager Settings on the top right.
    2. Tap Customization.

      • Name: Change the App Name to Discord or whatever you want it to be.
      • Icon: Untick the Replace app icon option.
    Optional - Fix Themes

Right as I was making this, Discord released an update that happened to nerf Themes, see the images below for a comparison. We can downgrade Discord to a slightly older version to restore full Themes functionality.

    1. Go to the Revenge Manager Settings on the top right.
    2. Tap About.
    3. Tap the Version Number (v1.3.0) 10 times to active Developer Mode.
    4. Go back to Settings and enter Developer only.
    5. Set Discord version to 308011.
    6. Go back to the main screen.
    7. Do not update the app
  6. Tap on New Install, or Update if you are updating.

  7. Tap Install and wait for the Installer to do its thing.

    1. If prompted, open Settings from the popup that appears.
    2. Tick Allow from this source.
  8. Install the app from the popup that appears.

  9. Tap Launch or open the app on your phone once it installs. You may need to do this twice.
  10. Grant the permission requests.
  11. Go to your phone's Settings app.
  12. Tap Default Apps, and then Opening Links. Names may vary by phone brand.
  13. Look for your modded Discord app and tap it.
  14. Look for anything similar to Add link. Go to it tap on all the links you want to use (usually all of them).
  15. Go back to your modded app and sign into your Discord account.

Plugins are basically what allow you to customize the features and UI elements of Discord. There are two ways to get plugins: the Browser and the Manual methods. I recommend the Browser method. The Browser method offers an easy way to view and install plugins from within Discord, but may not always be up to date in showing available plugins. The Manual method involves going through a Discord Server thread to find plugins you like and manually installing them.
