Reddit

Overview

This guide covers the patching of Reddit. This is pretty much gives Reddit some extra customization and no ads.

Note

Morphe is required. Please view instructions on the left hand side or at Morphe.

Required Download(s)

The file needed can be downloaded here or through Morphe.
Open the Installation Videos tab for a video tutorial. Follow Video 1 if you choose to download it here, or Video 2 if you choose to install it through Morphe.
Installation instructions for both options will be provided. Their source links are provided below if you prefer getting them from there instead.

Installation

  1. Download the first file above (Reddit). Do not open it

    Note

    You may be warned that the File might be harmful, but Android does this for apps downloaded outside of the Play Store. Press Download anyway if prompted.

  2. Open Morphe. Please view Morphe if you have not installed it yet.

  3. Head over to the Patcher tab on the bottom.
  4. Tap on Select an app.
  5. Ensure that the .apk file of Youtube you downloaded matches the Suggested: version of the app you wish to patch, in this case Youtube.

  6. After verifying, press the Storage button on the bottom right. Select the file you downloaded in Step 1: com.google.android.youtube...

    Note

    You can see the Selected patches, which are the additions made. These are all options to enable or disable features.

  7. Press Patch and let it go through. This may take a few minutes.

  8. Once the process is finished, press Install on the bottom right, and Install on the popup that appears.
  9. Enjoy your funky Youtube.
